What image does the phrase 'camel riding'
conjure up? Deserts, shimmering heat, pyramids in the
background? Think again. How about Camel riding in Europe - it's
fun, relaxing, and you get a cracking view from up there. You'll
start off with some refreshments and a welcome brief before you
go and meet the camels. After saying hello and having a chance
to get used to them, you'll be shown how to put a bridle and a
saddle on your camel. Then you and your trusty steed will head
out on a peaceful ride through lovely countryside, accompanied
by instructors. Camels are friendly and inquisitive, and each
has its own quirky personality, so we're sure that you'll make
new pals. Your camel will be led at all times by an instructor
and you'll also learn a bit about their history and habits (the
camels' that is, not your instructor's). At the end of your trek
you can reward your camel with a groom and a feed and then enjoy
a glass of champagne with some strawberries before you say
goodbye.
